FEST Music: Bangkok Mix

We're back in Bangkok for a bit and we've been enjoying some normal internet speed, which has felt amazing! In most of our guesthouses in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, the internet was pretty patchy and unreliable. It didn't really bother us while we were there, but now that we've experienced it again it's like "Wow, yes I remember, this is how the internet is supposed to work!". So all this normal internet speed prompted a little YouTube concert the other night with some of our favorite songs right now.

Music is such an important and special thing to me. I love the way it can change a mood and bring energy into a room. In case you're looking for a little music inspiration, I've put together a mix of some of my current favorite songs. I hope you'll enjoy! (And don't be ashamed to get up and dance if you're really feeling the beat! We sure did!)

(I'm sure there's gotta be a better way to put together a playlist, but I've just embedded all the YouTube videos here. If you have any tips for making a playlist, let me know!)

Hey friends and readers! I wanted to check in because I know it's been a while since I posted over here. We're currently in Laos and it's surprised me as one of my favorite countries of the trip! So beautiful and humble and green! This whole trip has been nothing short of incredible. Everyday we see and experience new things and I'm overwhelmed with how much there is to share and write about. Beautiful, crazy, educational, inspirational, funny, happy, and sad things. I feel so blessed to be on this journey and I'm trying my best to live every day in the moment and soak up the time we have here.

I have a bunch of blog posts in my drafts folder that I intend to share with you all, but I just haven't had the time to put all the finishing touches on them that will make them beautiful and worthwhile for you. LOTS of blog posts will be coming, but in the meantime, if you want to see more of our adventures, be sure to follow me on Instagram. My username is @thefestblog. If you prefer desktop browsing, I also publish all my Instagrams to the tumblr site

Thanks so much for following along!
