Taco Seasoning

Did you know you can make your own taco seasoning? It's quite simple and probably a tad healthier than using those packets from the grocery store. Another added bonus? There's a good chance you already have all the ingredients in your cupboard!

Check it out:

From Closet Cooking
Total Time: About 5 minutes
Yield: About 4 Tablespoons (the same amount in a regular packet you'd buy at the store)

INGREDIENTS:

1 Tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (less if you have a mild palate)
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Mix everything.

*P.S. Check out my first official guest post today at Davenport Developments!

Hum... the things I would never think to do.

I love that bottom picture for some reason. Who knew I could love a combo of seasonings photo so much?
